General Hair Extension FAQs

1. What types of hair do you offer?
We offer two premium collections:

  • Raw Hair: 100% unprocessed human hair from a single donor.
  • Virgin Hair: High quality human hair that’s steam-processed for texture (never chemically treated).  Both collections are ethically sourced and long-lasting.

2. Are your extensions made from real human hair?
Yes. All of our extensions are made from 100% real human hair! No synthetic blends, no fillers, no compromises.

3. How long do Bella Mensa Hair extensions last?

  • Raw Hair: 3-5+ years with proper care.
  • Virgin Hair: Up to 1 year or more with good maintenance.

Longevity depends on how well the hair is cared for.

4. What’s the difference between Raw and Virgin Hair?

Raw Hair is unprocessed, natural hair from a single donor. Virgin Hair is slightly processed using steam only to create uniform textures.

5. Where is your hair sourced from?
We ethically source our hair from India, Cambodia, Laos, and Southeast Asia through trusted suppliers who compensate donors fairly.

6. Do you offer custom wigs or installations?
Yes! We offer custom wigs, closure and frontal installs, and other salon services.

1. How should I care for my extensions?

  • Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner
  • Detangle gently from ends to roots
  • Deep condition regularly
  • Avoid heavy oils and alcohol based products
  • Let hair air-dry whenever possible

2. Can I color or bleach Bella Mensa Hair extensions?

Yes. Both Raw and Virgin Hair can be dyed, but Raw Hair takes color better due to its unprocessed state. We recommend our professional coloring service for best results.

3. Can I straighten or curl the hair?
Absolutely! All of our extensions can be heat-styled just like your natural hair. Use a heat protectant to maintain the hair’s health.

4. Will the hair shed or tangle?
Our extensions are double wefted and cuticle aligned to minimize shedding and tangling. With proper care, shedding is minimal.

5. How do I store my hair extensions?
Keep them in a satin bag or on a hanger. For wigs or units, place them on a mannequin head when not in use to preserve shape and texture.

 

Orders, Shipping & Returns

1. How long does shipping take?
We offer both UK and international shipping. Processing takes 1-3 business days, and delivery time depends on your location. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your order ships.

2. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours and we’ll work to resolve it.
